To repair the damaged line, we will have to lose service to the building tomorrow 11/1/2024.  Since we will be unable to cook lunches, Friday will be a Virtual Learning Day for all of Edgewood Elementary Students.  Staff has the option to also work remotely.  

There is a slight possibility that we will not have hot water in the building Monday for parent-teacher conferences.  We will not know that for sure until later tomorrow. 

Edgewood Elementary students will bring their Chromebooks and materials home today to prepare for the virtual day tomorrow.  

A reminder that Tuesday is also a Virtual Day for All Students in All Buildings.

The Woodland Hills School District Board of Directors formally approved the censure of board member Darnika Reed during a special legislative meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

Student leaders from school districts throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania gathered at CCAC's North Side campus on Tuesday, Oct. 29 to begin preparations for the sixth annual Woodland Hills Student Summit in March. Learn more about the student leadership training and hear from multiple Woodland Hills students who have stepped up as leaders for this year's summit.

The November School Board Committee Meeting has been moved from Wednesday, Nov. 6 to Monday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 5 - which is Election Day - is now a Flexible Instruction Day/Learn From Home Day for all Woodland Hills School District students.

"The Cure for Hate: Bearing Witness to Auschwitz" documents Tony McAleer's journey from white supremacist to being a founding member of an anti-hate group. He teamed up with Peter Hutchison to document this journey of redemption and awakening, and to sound the alarm about leaving hate unchecked.

A group of Woodland Hills High School students were airborne over Allegheny County recently, thanks to a new curriculum initiative through the Allegheny County Airport.

Thursday evening was a celebration of cultural diversity and togetherness at Woodland Hills High School, as students, staff, community members, and special guests came together for the Ambassador Masire-Mwamba International Festival.
