As part of its celebration of CSEdWeek, the Woodland Hills School District was proud to host a Girls STEM Night at Dickson Preparatory STEAM Academy on Monday, thanks to our sponsor at MEPPI! This event was geared towards girls in grades 3-8 and introduced them to STEM careers. They also had the opportunity to explore robotic kits, drones, MEPPI's robotic dog, and much more.
The evening also featured activities and stations run by women who currently work in STEM careers, including at MEPPI.
Thanks to our neighbors at WQED, students were also able to take home some STEM kits to continue their exploration!
